AIRWAYS AVIATIONPortugal
Portugal
Airways Aviation Portugal was founded in 2025following a commercial partnership agreement with the OATC – Omni Aviation Training Center. OATC, originally established in 1998 as part of the Omni Group, achieved several key approvals in 2003, including JAR-FCL certification as an FTO (Flight Training Organisation) and TRTO (Type Rating Training Organisation), and was later approved by EASA as an ATO.
Today, Airways Aviation Portugal operates as a fully independent training organisation and is recognised as one of the leading providers of aviation training in the country. Headquartered at Cascais Airport, a business and general aviation hub located just 20 km from Lisbon, it delivers both theoretical and practical training. Flight training is also conducted at the Ponte de Sor aerodrome.
Airways Aviation has invested significantly in developing its Portuguese operations, adding multiple Diamond aircraft and advanced simulators to ensure students receive world-class training using state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.
